June 15, 2020The State Water Resources Control Board or Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board will issue a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan permit to regulate water quality of stormwater and nonstormwater runoff from the construction sites. It is also possible that these regulatory agencies would issue a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit to regulate nonstormwater runoff from the construction sites. These permits would include monitoring and reporting requirements, such as the collecting and analyzing water samples of runoff from the construction site and in the receiving water body. The results of these analyses would be submitted to the regulatory agencies and could be posted to a publicly available website.
