June 15, 2020Reclamation districts (RDs) have important requirements for maintenance, monitoring and flood fighting. These efforts will need to continue during construction and operation of the Delta Conveyance facilities. During design, DCA will coordinate with potentially affected RDs to understand their typical processes and annual schedules to minimize disruptions. DCA will also work closely with the RDs to develop strategies and contingencies for high-water conditions to ensure their ability to maintain, monitor and implement flood-fight activities during construction and operations.
