Would construction of the maintenance and reception shafts use the same staging areas (e.g., parking lots, roads, etc.) as the launch shafts?

June 15, 2020In the previous project, “safe haven” shafts were identified to allow for maintenance and repair of the tunnel boring machine outside of the tunnel. These shafts are referred to as “maintenance shafts” in the Delta Conveyance program.
