Jeff Davis

Mr. Davis has been the General Manager and Chief Engineer of the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency since 2005. Prior to that, he was the founding director of the Water Resources Institute at Cal State, San Bernardino. He has been in the water industry since 1980, and in Southern California since 1987. He has worked for consulting firms, water utilities, and as a research associate for a federal agency. He has a Bachelors degree in environmental and water resources engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Masters degree in water resources engineering from Stanford University, and is a registered civil engineer in California.

Mr. Davis played an integral role in producing the Inland Empire Infrastructure Report Card in 2004, leading a team that developed grades for water and wastewater. As a follow-up to that effort, he was part of the team that developed the water grade for the California Infrastructure Report Card in Fall 2006 and once again led a team to develop the water grade for an updated Inland Empire Infrastructure Report Card in 2009.
