San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency (SGPWA) was formed to address historical groundwater overdraft by securing and managing imported supplied form the State Water Project (SWP). Today, SWP water is a critical component of the region’s supply portfolio, making up about 42.5 percent of total water supplies. These imported supplies help stabilize the groundwater basin, support local communities and ensure long-term water reliability across the Pass region.
